Produktion2030 makes 1-2 calls for new projects each year. The programme in question determines the focus of the calls and the budget. Vinnova handles the applications and project financing.

→ Call 16, Summer 2022: Circularity in industrial production
This call will finance projects whose results and effects contribute to increased circularity in industrial production in the manufacturing industry in Sweden.

In this call, Production2030 puts the human being at the center. In many places in the manufacturing industry, there is an acute shortage of skilled and competitive labor. This greatly affects Swedish companies’ ability to compete globally.

The strategic innovation program Production 2030 announces SEK 41 million for research and innovation projects. The projects will contribute to a sustainable and resilient (resistant) manufacturing industry in Sweden.

Sustainable competitiveness in the Swedish manufacturing industry Produktion2030 finances challenging research and innovation projects that create sustainable competitiveness for the manufacturing industry in Sweden.

→ Call 12, Summar 2019: Digitalization of value chains for manufacturing industry
With this call, we want to strengthen the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Sweden by increasing the efficiency of the industry´s value chains, primarily by using digital technology. Value chains are a number of value-creating activities that are required to produce a product.

→ Call 11, Spring 2019: Research and Innovation Project
The strategic innovation programme Produktion2030 is part of Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas’ joint venture in strategic innovation areas. The aim of the venture in strategic investment areas is to create conditions for international competitiveness and to find sustainable solutions to global challenges facing societies today.

→ Call 10, Winter 2018: SIP Production2030 – New services for manufacturing industry
Through this call, idéa projects are financed that can contribute to the development of new production-related services, aimed at the manufacturing industry.

→ Call 9, Spring 2018: Cost-effective automation
Produktion2030 invites players in industry, universities and research institutes to our ninth call for proposals: research and innovation projects that will lead to cost-effective automation in the Swedish manufacturing industry. The project proposals must have a clear focus on one or two of Produktion2030’s six areas of strength.

→ Call 8, Winter 2017: SIP Produktion2030 – Ideas projects – Sustainable Production
Do you have ideas that could help to improve the sustainability of industrial manufacturing? Within Produktion2030, people in the manufacturing industry, at university or at a research institute can apply for funding for short, high-risk, ideas projects, max SEK 500,000 per project. The project will test ideas with the potential to significantly boost sustainability in the Sweden manufacturing industry. The final date for applications is 28 September 2017.

→ Call 7, Autumn 2017: Testbed project for digitalisation in manufacturing
Under this call, Produktion2030 will issue funding for testbed projects up to a maximum of SEK 8 million per project. The projects must make use of existing test environments and lead to greater digitalisation of the Swedish manufacturing industry. The final deadline for applications is 28 September 2017.

→ Call 6, Spring 2017: Test and demonstration projects
Test and demonstration projects seeking maximum funding of SEK 8 million have a deadline of 31 March 2017. The purpose of this call is to provide support for test and demonstration projects aimed at increasing digitalisation in industrial production.

→ Call 5, Spring  2017: Research and innovation projects
Research and innovation projects seeking maximum funding of SEK 3 million have a deadline of 17 February 2017. The purpose of this call is to provide support for research and innovation projects aimed at increasing digitalisation in industrial production

→ Call 4, Spring 2016: New production methods and production techniques
The purpose of this call is to provide support for large research and innovation projects with a focus on new production methods and production techniques.

→ Call 3, Autumn 2015: Digitalisation concepts in industrial production
Produktion2030’s third call for proposals will focus on digitalisation. We seek short-term projects of high news value, whose results can be scaled up for industrial use.

→ Call 2, Spring 2015: The Produktion2030 Strategic Innovation Programme
This is the second of many calls for proposals within the strategic innovation programme Produktion2030, the aim of which is to promote innovation and improve the long-term competitiveness of the Swedish manufacturing industry. The programme will run until 2018.

→ Call 1, Autumn 2014: The Production2030 Strategic Innovation Program
This is the first of many calls for proposals within the strategic innovation programme Produktion2030, the aim of which is to promote innovation and improve the long-term competitiveness of the Swedish manufacturing industry. Four projects will receive funding of up to SEK 6.5 million, with each project falling under one of the programme’s six areas of strength.

The call is aimed at consortia that in collaboration can contribute to the development of components and system solutions for the benefit of the next generation of industrial digital solutions, and for new products and services to be developed in Sweden.

→ External call, Autumn 2022: Innovations for reduced electricity use
Solutions that quickly contribute to reduced or shifted electricity use in Sweden. A joint effort from the Swedish Energy Agency and Vinnova.

→ External call, Spring 2022: Sustainable production and resource efficiency in the mining and metals-producing industry
You can apply for funding for projects that address any of the challenges defined by the Strategic Research and Innovation Roadmap (2019).

→ External call, Autumn 2021: Take the opportunity to apply for support to plan a Horizon Europe application!
Vinnova offers support for planning applications for the EU Framework Program Horizon Europe, the purpose is to give Swedish organizations better conditions to contribute together with European partners to a sustainable transformation of Swedish industry. The EU Framework Program is an underutilized opportunity with huge resources in terms of funding, networks and research infrastructure. It is possible to apply for planning grants from Vinnova twice a year, the next round of the announcement closes on 18 October.
